Speaker
Description
This hands-on workshop is meant to give you practical help to improve your next scientific presentation (i.e. talk based on slides, maybe even your iDiv conference talk). It’s very little about design principles, colors, style or your content itself. It is about how to present figures, stories, and just individual slides in a way, the audience can easily follow and will understand and maybe even remember your take home messages.
It is not about vague meta level buzzwords, its hands on using your material and improving it, based on my presented guidelines and an open discussion among the workshop participants.
Didactic aims: Improving the presentation style of scientific figures, stories, and general slides; Gaining confidence when presenting scientific talks
