We are excited to welcome you as a presenter at our upcoming conference. Please carefully review the following guidelines to ensure smooth sessions and a great experience for all attendees.
Oral Presentations
- Duration: For each oral presentation, a 15 minute slot will be reserved, including 12 minutes for the talk and 3 minutes for questions from the audience. Please strictly adhere to this time limit to ensure a smooth session flow. The session chair will monitor the time and notify you 2 minutes before the end of your talk.
- Presentation Submission:
- Format: Prepare your presentation in PowerPoint (.pptx) or PDF (recommended).
- Submission Deadline: 8 AM on the day of your presentation.
- How to Submit: upload it to Nextcloud: Nextcloud Upload.
- File Naming: Use the following structure to name your file:
LastName_ID_Talk
Examples: Rozanov_81_talk.pdf or .pptx - Note: No confirmation email will be sent. You can check your submission status in the Nextcloud file directly.
- Technical Setup: Each session room will have a projector, screen, and both podium and handheld microphones.
Poster Presentations
The poster sessions will take place during the extended lunch breaks on 08 and 09 September. Your assigned poster session (08 or 09 September) will be communicated in early August.
- Printed Poster Submission:

Printed Poster Size: Posters should not exceed A0 size (84.1 cm x 118.9 cm) and must be in portrait orientation.

Poster Session:
- in the Foyer of the Friedrich Schiller University during the Lunch Breaks.

Tuesday, 08 September, from 1:00 - 03:00 PM

Wednesday, 09 September, from 12:30 - 02:00 PM
- Check the detailed timetable for your scheduled poster presentation.

An overview of poster locations will be displayed near the registration desk.

Mounting Deadline: Posters must be mounted by 12:30 PM on the day of the session (materials will be provided).

Removal: Posters should be removed by 05:30 PM on Wednesday, 09 September. Any Posters not taken down by then will be thrown away.

- Digital Poster submission on Indico:
- In addition to the on-site poster presentation, you may provide a digital version of your poster on Indico. This will increase visibility of your project and promote interaction as it will be accessible via the contribution list and in the detailed view of the timetable.
- To upload your poster:
- Go to the "My Contributions" section under "My Conference" at indico.
- Click on your contribution and scroll down to "Presentation Materials."
- Click the pen icon and select "Upload Files."
