Jena West station is about a 15–20 minute walk or a short tram ride away. From either station, follow signs toward Universitätsplatz / Fürstengraben.
  • By Public Transport: Tram lines 1 and 4 stop at “Universitätsplatz”, directly adjacent to the main university building.
  • By Car: Limited parking is available nearby; we strongly recommend using public transport.

Friedrich Schiller University Jena combines a rich academic tradition with modern research and teaching facilities. The historic main university building at Fürstengraben provides an inspiring setting for scientific exchange, featuring elegant lecture halls, bright foyers, and state-of-the-art technical equipment.

Located in Jena’s city center, the venue is surrounded by cafés, restaurants, shops, and green spaces, and is only a short walk from the Saale river and major cultural attractions. Its compact layout makes it ideal for conferences with parallel sessions and networking opportunities.
